It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the Korean Cultural Center of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea to the Kingdom of Belgium and the European Union.

Brussels is known as the’ political and economic center of Europe where the headquarters of the European Union (EU) and North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) are located as well as more than 1.500 NGOs and 2.000 Branch Offices of multinational companies.

In the heart of Brussels, the capital of Europe, the Korean Cultural Center strives since its opening in November 2013 to promote cultural exchanges between Korea & Belgium and Korea & the EU by diverse traditional and contemporary cultural activities.

At our space, you can experience and discover the value of the tradition and charm of modernity of Korean culture through exhibitions, performance, movie screenings, Korean language classes, culinary classes, craft workshops and Taekwondo.

At the same time, we intend to grow and develop as an open transcultural place where Belgian and European Cultural & Art Institutions, International Organizations and the public can actively communicate and interact.

In our life, the understanding of culture becomes more profound by growth and communication. The Korean Cultural Center aims to become a bridge of cultural communication, shared feelings, exchange and development between Korea and the EU.
