The first ever exhibition of traditional Korean clothing, ‘Hanbok’, will be held in the Korean Cultural Center! The Formal Hanbok Association of Korea will display more than a dozen colorful and beautiful traditional clothing. Various costume designs are presented as treasures reflecting Korean history as well as formal attires worn during the four family ceremonies in Korea: the coming-of-age ceremony, the wedding, the funeral, and the ancestral rite. All collections in this exhibition are fine quality costumes which are inspired by the last dynasty of Korea, Joseon. You’ll discover in this exhibition an essential part of traditional Korean fashion and way of life.
