Webtoon exhibition

The term "Webtoon" originated from the combination of the words "web" and "cartoon". This is a new form of digital comic, which is now very popular in Korea. The comic is an art form that was created and developed along with the evolution of printing. Since the development of digital technology, mass production and distribution to the public has been possible on a large scale. It is also a comic form that is experiencing explosive growth thanks to the rise of smartphones. With a smartphone, anyone can connect to the worldwide web and read webtoons anytime, anywhere. At the exhibition organized in the Korean Cultural Center, you can discover the specifics of the Korean webtoons as well as experience the webtoons through the available tablets in the center.

Using the tablets availalble for visitors in the Webtoon corner in the Korean Cultural Center, you can visit the webtoon platform such as DELITOON, LEZINE, WEBTOON, you are invited to discover and read Korean Webtoon translated in French & English.
