The 4th Special International Photo Exhibition <Anthropocene>
25, Nov. 2020 - 5, Feb. 2021
The Korean Cultural Center Brussels will hold the 4th Special International Photography Exhibition under the theme of 'Anthropocene' from November 25th to February 5th, 2021. This photo exhibition, which is held inviting five contemporaries such as Lee Daesung, Mandy Barker, Hashem Shakeri, Nick Hannes, and Zhang Kechun, contains the scenes of global environmental destruction and ecosystem change caused by climate change.
'Anthropocene' is a word that refers to the present time when the climate and ecosystem were completely different from the previous ones by humans. This exhibition is a collection of records by personally visiting sites around the world changed by humans or a message from five photographers who have reconstructed their own creative ways.
This exhibition welcomes you in the form of an online exhibition first in consideration of the Covid-19 situation in Belgium. The Photo exhibition video released online includes the sound to images related to photos of five artists, so you can enjoy the works like a panorama.
The Korean Cultural Center Brussels plans to open the exhibition hall to offline audiences as soon as local covid-19-related quarantine measures are eased. The Online photo exhibition can be viewed on the official YouTube channel of the Korean Cultural Center Brussels from November 25th, 2020.
