About the book – « Le Grand Magasin Des Rêves »
Published by Éditions Picquier
Translated by CHOI Kyungran and BISIOU Pierre
(An English translation has been published by Headline with the title ‘DallerGut Dream Department Store’.)
There is a city that one can only visit while asleep. The most popular place in this city is the Dream Department Store, which appears as a huge ship shimmering with lights and towering four stories high, where all imaginable dreams are offered and sold: dreams of childhood, travel, delicious food, but also nightmares, premonitory or comforting dreams. Penny has just passed her job interview and she starts her work at the ground floor reception. It is with her that we will discover the colorful universe of the Dream Department Store, where every night, a crowd of human and animal sleepers come to choose the dreams they want to experience.
A sparkling novel, and a tremendous success in Korea with over 1 million readers who have enjoyed dreaming in broad daylight.
About the author – Lee Mi-ye
