Making tasty makgeolli(Rice wine) with natural ingredient. Makgeolli class provide participants with an opportunity to learn about the history and culture of makgeolli. Participants can see the entire chain of brewing, and learn about the process Korean rice goes through to become fragrant liquor. It's popular with visitor who are curious about Korean Alchol Fermented in the traditional methods.
The rice is fermented with clean water and nuruk, a type of Korean fermentation starter, mostly made from whole wheat. It is fermented very naturally without any artificial additives or sweeteners in alcohol.
The results is a smooth, refreshing drink with a slightly sweet and sour taste.

Nara Yun is the owner of Yunjudang Seoul, a traditional Korean restaurant specializing in makgeolli. She is a master brewer of makgeolli, and she has been making it for over 8 years. In 2020, she won the grand prize at the Korean heritage liquor awards in 2020. Nara is passionate about sharing her love of makgeolli with others, and she wants people to know that it is more than just a drink. It is a part of Korean culture and history.
