40th BIFFF; BRUSSELS INTERNATIONAL FANTASTIC FILM FESTIVAL - KOREAN FILM SCREENINGS

10 Korean films including <Hansan> by Han-min KIM will be invited to the 40th Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFFF), which will be held from August 29 to September 10, 2022. The Korean Cultural Center, which has been participating in the BIFFF since 2013, supports the screening of Korean films.

At this year's BIFFF, director Hoon-jung PARK's <The Witch Part 2: The Other One> entered the international competition, and <Special Delivery> directed by Dae-min PARK, and <Tomb of the River> directed by Young-bin YOON are qualified to the Black Raven (former thriller competition) competition. These films will be screened in Belgium for the first time during the BIFFF. And <Midnight> directed by Oh-seung KWON was named in the Emerging Raven (new director) competition newly established by BIFFF this year.

In addition, <Confession> directed by Jong-seok YOON, <Cursed: Dead Man's Prey> directed by Yong-wan KIM, <The Killer> directed by Jae-hoon  CHOOI, <Next Door> directed Ji-ho YEOM, <Sinkhole> directed Ji-hoon KIM, a number of Korean films such as those meet with about 60,000 local audiences. Furthermore, two directors, Dae-min PARK of <Special Delivery> and Ji-hoon KIM of <Sinkhole> are invited to this festival to meet with local audiences.
