On March 30, we are going to discuss Won-Pyung Sohn's novel 'Amande'. A bestseller in Korea that has sold more than 600,000 copies and was recommended by Namjoon, one of the members of the Korean K-pop group BTS.

Summary
Yunjae, 15, can't feel emotions. His cerebral amygdala, his "almond", is not functioning well. When a tragedy turns his life upside down, he finds himself alone in the face of adversity. Against all odds, Gon, a rebellious, angry and violent boy of his age, takes an interest in him. About the author – Won-Pyung Sohn
Sohn Won Pyung is a South Korean director, screenwriter and author. She majored in sociology and philosophy at Sogang University, and in cinematography at the Korea Academy of Cinematographic Arts. She has received several awards, including the Science Fantasy Writers' Award for her script ‘I Believe in the Moment’. ‘Almond’ is her debut novel, which has won the Changbi Prize for Young Adult Fiction and the Jeju 4.3 Peace Literary Award.

- Your registration will be confirmed by e-mail. In case the number of registrations exceeds the number of available seats, a waiting list will be created.
- Online registration for this event is mandatory and is done on a first come, first serve basis. Please understand that it is very unfair to refuse registrations on the one hand and observe that registered persons simply do not show up at events at the other hand.
