Esther Yoo, violin
(Korea, USA)
Esther Yoo first came to international attention in 2010 when, aged 16, she became the youngest prizewinner of the 10th International Sibelius Violin
Competition. In 2012, she was also one of the youngest ever prizewinners of the Queen Elisabeth Competition. Born in the U.S. and raised in Europe, Esther
made her concerto debut aged 8. Currently, she
further perfects her talent at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Belgium.
Narek Hakhnazaryan,
cello (Georgia)
Hailed by the Washington Post as “a seasoned phenomenon”, Narek Hakhnazaryan is firmly established and recognised world-wide as one of the finest cellists
of his generation. Having won the Gold Medal at the XIV International Tchaikovsky Competition in 2011 at the age of 22, he has already forged strong
relationships across the
globe with orchestras such as the Mariinsky Orchestra, Seoul Philharmonic,
Filarmonica de la Scala and the London Philharmonic.
Zhang Zuo, piano (China)
Zhang Zuo’s unique musical talent was first discovered in Germany, where she began her training at age five. Upon her return to China, she became
one of the most sought after young artists in the nation, collaborating with virtually all major Chinese orchestras. Subsequent successes with top
international orchestras, including the London Philharmonic Orchestra and National Orchestra of Belgium, brought invitations to perform in the world's
most prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Bozar in Brussels, and the Grand Hall of
Moscow Conservatory.
