Recruitment of "Global Kimchi Ambassadors Season 2"

The World Institute of Kimchi (WiKim), a government-funded research institute under the Ministry of Science and ICT, 

is launching "Global Kimchi Ambassador Season 2" to promote the scientific value and cultural significance of Kimchi worldwide.

This program targets international participants interested in Kimchi and Korean food culture. 

Through various activities such as content creation, education, and research, we aim to share the status and value of Korea as the "motherland of Kimchi." 

• ●Project Name: Global Kimchi Ambassador Season 2

• ●Application Period: Jan 28 (Wed) – Feb 20 (Fri), 2026

• ●Eligibility: Anyone interested in Kimchi and its scientific/cultural aspects

• 1.In Korea: All residents (Koreans and foreigners)

• 2.Overseas: Foreign nationals, overseas Koreans, marriage immigrants, etc.

• ●Recruitment Categories: Communicator, Educator, Networker, Researcher

• ●Activity Period: April 2026 – March 2028 (2 years)

• 1.Creating content related to Kimchi and fermentation culture

• 2.Planning and participating in Kimchi education programs
