Uri × Sool
In Korean, 우리 (uri) is a pronoun that is used when the speaker is talking about him/herself and the listener(s), or a group that includes the speaker and the listener(s). 술 (sool) is liquor. Koreans like to refer to beverages made by traditional Korean methods 우리 술 (uri sool), literally “liquor made by Koreans’ own ways.” Now, Korean liquor is reaching out to the world. We wish that it may be a drink of choice for everybody everywhere in the world. And in this common pleasure of a fine drink, we wish that you and Korea may become “우리” (us).
