Buddhist Hanging Scroll at Eunhaesa Temple, Treasure No. 1270 < A Rain of Flowers >
Each year the National Museum of Korea showcases large-scale Buddhist hanging scrolls (Gwaebul) since 2006. This year’s Gwaebul is that they display is the beautiful scroll painting that is from Eunhaesa Temple in Yeongcheon, Gyeongsangbuk-do Province in Korea. It depicts the Buddha who stands in the center on a bed of lotus flowers.
As everybody feels that this summer is not that easy for us in many ways, we would like to propose you to visit this online exhibition to ease your mind appreciating these peaceful Buddhist artworks.
