KCC On Stage 2026: Discover Korean Performing Arts at the KCC!

The Korean Cultural Center presents the ARKO Ensemble, a stage for young Korean musicians who are expanding their artistic horizons across Europe.

Founded by Arts Council Korea (ARKO), the ARKO Ensemble is a project ensemble that offers performance opportunities to young musicians studying or working abroad, while showcasing the strength of "K-classical" music on the international stage. All of its members are aged 34 and under. Since its founding concerts in Vienna and Salzburg in 2024, the ensemble has performed in New York, Washington, D.C., Berlin and beyond. Musicians of diverse backgrounds and personalities come together to reveal the present and the new possibilities of Korean classical music.

Under the artistic direction of Jonghoon Bae, seven members based in Cologne, Mannheim, Berlin, Paris and elsewhere take the stage. From Chopin's Nocturne and Beethoven's "Archduke" Trio to songs by Schumann and Schubert, wind works by Godard and Poulenc, and Tchaikovsky's Piano Trio, the program moves freely between solo, chamber and vocal repertoire across eras and styles. Come and experience the moment when piano, strings, winds and voice enter into conversation and become one.
