This year's Festival Musiq3 invites audiences on a musical journey across eras, cultures and genres under the theme 'Horizons'. The Korean Cultural Centre is proud to co-produce Pianist Saehyun Kim's performance as part of this special journey.

A new star on the international piano scene, Saehyun Kim has captivated audiences since his breakthrough at the renowned Long-Thibaud Competition. With a dazzling touch, remarkable maturity, and a rare stage presence, he leaves a powerful impression wherever he performs, already announcing himself as one of the leading pianists of tomorrow. A laureate of numerous international competitions, Saehyun Kim drew the attention of the global music world shortly before his eighteenth birthday, winning in 2025 the Grand Prix at the Concours International Long-Thibaud, as well as the Audience Prize, the Press Jury Prize, and the Conservatoires of the City of Paris Prize. We invite you to discover him during an evening that not only celebrates music, but also the enduring friendship between Belgium and South Korea.

In the first part of the concert, Duo Post-Scriptum will perform the first movement of a violin sonata by Belgian composer Henriette Van den Boorn-Coclet, a fascinating work discovered in Eugène Ysaÿe's music library.
