Suwon Hwaseong Cultural Festival is Suwon's landmark festival held every October at Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site, and the Temporary Palace within the fortress. 

Hwaseong Fortress (a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage), a must-see attraction throughout the year, truly comes alive during the festival period.

A range of events include 

King Jeongjo's Royal Parade (the largest royal parade in Korea that perfactly reproduces the eight-day massive march conducted by King Jeongjo)

Suwon media Art Show (a large media art show expressed as "light' that combines advanced digital technology against the backdrop of Hwaseong Fortress) 

Visitors can enjoy activities that vividly recreate the Joseon Dynasty atmosphere.
