Korean Cultural Center Library Loan Service

The library of the Korean Cultural Center in Belgium will provide a book loan services from August 16. Only for members whose membership registration is completed by filling out the KCC library membership application form (see below) and submitting it to the library information desk together with a copy of their ID. Membership cannot be transferred to another person, and if the contact info changes after having signed up, the members are obliged to notify this to the library.
 

• 1.The Library of the Korean Cultural Center in Belgium provides book loan services to members only. If you are not a member, you can only consult them in the library.

• 2.The rules concerning the book loan service is as follows.

• -Loan cost: Free

• -Number of loans: maximum 3 books at the same time per person

• -Loan period: up to 4 weeks (28 days), a loan cannot be renewed

• -Loanable books: novels, comic books, children's literature (Other documents can only be consulted in the library)

• -Late fee: 0.10 euros per day/ per book. We charge fines only for days when the library is open.

• 3.The full responsibility for the borrowed books lies with the member himself, and the borrowed books cannot be lent to a third party.

• 4.If a book is lost or damaged, we have the right to claim compensation and any costs related to enforcing legal proceedings will be charged to the borrower. Accordingly, members are obligated to compensate for the cost equivalent to the book price in accordance with the library regulations if the borrowed book is lost or damaged. Please note that even a note or a scribble considered damage.

• 5.Loan books must be returned within the deadline. If they are overdue, a late fee will be charged, and the member will not be able to borrow any other books until the late fee is paid.
