14.11.2017 > 20.01.2018
The Korean Cultural Center organizes a photo exhibition, “Synchronizing Instances”, in collaboration with Photo Brussels Festival.
The characteristics of photos differ depending on their concepts or purposes. There are two main genres of photos: it is a tool for creative artistic activities and a descriptive tool to produce documentary photos for the purpose of record. Photographic artworks are the result of the complex combination of the eyes and psychological, visual, and physical reactions. In this regard, no matter which photographic branch it belongs to, photos basically are the outcome of the desire of the photographer. We have here gathered photographers in this exhibition who express human desires by means of very different visions.
For this exhibition the Korean Cultural Center invited four artists, BYUN Soonchoel, Thomas DE WOUTERS, KANG Youngho and Franky VERDICKT.
