Cho, Young-Hyun
received her Doctoral degree in Piano Performance and Literature from the
Eastman School of Music of University of Rochester; Master’s degree and
Graduate Performance Diploma from Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins
University; and Bachelor’s degree from Seoul National University. Her major
teachers include Dr. Nelita True and Boris Slutsky. She is currently
serving as Associate Professor of Piano at the University of Texas at Arlington.
She won prizes from the Louisiana
International Piano Competition, Harrison Winter Competition, Eastman Concerto
Competition, Korea Music Association Competition, Seoul Arts Center Orchestral
Festival Soloist Competition, KBS Music Competition, and JoongAng Times Music
Competition. She received a Certificate of Artistic Achievement from the
Virginia Waring International Piano Competition.
