The Korean Cultural Center in Belgium is organizing the sixth edition of their annual Korean and Belgian comic exhibition. Like every year, Korean and Belgian cartoonists are invited to express themselves about a new theme, in order to explore the art world and the cultural flow through comics. This year's theme is "Inner Eye" and will run from September 12 to November 1 at the Korean Cultural Center.

Looking at yourself, or in other words self-reflection. This is what the comic author does when he creates his characters. All the characteristics that make up the characters' identity are directly related to the personality of the author. The purpose of this exhibition is to let the audience forget who they are for a moment by taking on the role of a cartoon character or by following the story of a character in a story. The reader takes a step outside of himself to immerse himself in the story and discovers the world from a new perspective.

In this exhibition, four Korean authors, including LEE Dooho, CHOI Jaehoon, KIM Hanjo, and LEE Yoonhee and three Belgian authors, including Simon SPRUYT, Ben GIJSEMANS, and Shamisa DEBROEY, are invited to present their "inner gaze" through their comics.
